Solitude

Alleinsein is different
than Einsamkeit,
the doctor told me.
Sure it is,
everyone knows that
it's impossible
to be lonely
when you're all alone.
it's a god damned train wreck
watching people with purpose,
knowing you've got nothing
and no one in the whole world
will turn up at your funeral.
You probably won't even get one,
just a final fire
inside some kind of oven
and a low paid drunk
will sweep whatever you were
into the trash.
Not even dumped into a garden
where you might finally
be something useful.
Einsamkeit is desperation
to be useful, to have purpose:
Schwartz Peter has purpose,
and he's never been lonely.
