What lovelies over at the NY Times have given us this brilliant little bit: ?? American Held in Pakistan Worked With C.I.A. I thought it was pretty nice of them to publish the story and effectively lie (they have been reporting on this for sometime now). Now they come out with the obvious and say, “We were asked not” to tell the truth “by the administration.”
Well! Isn’t that just dandy! Thanks for your “Journalistic Integrity”. Is there such a thing as “Journalistic Integrity” when dealing with International News? Of course, beyond that, the obvious – an armed CIA agent running around killing people should piss off Pakistan. If it happened in the U.S., they’d be mad as hell! Especially if they were so careless and stupid.
Perhaps more later… it annoys me too much to really get into depth with it.
